Marion's first recording of original music was her 2017 EP WALKING IN TALL GRASS (with Trickster Sister). Marion's debut full-length solo album, RINGS AROUND SATURN, was released in July 2019 and landed that month at #3 on the US/International Folk Radio DJ charts (data compiled by Folk Alliance International). Pandemics. Disasters. Chaos. Fear. Are these the Dark Ages all over again? This sense of the medieval permeates ‘The Measure’, which also incorporates the dark sounds of a viola da gamba to create a haunting song that reflects on the ebb and flow of light to dark–and back again– ‘the measure’ of all human experience.
