WFDU (89.1fm or online @www.wfdu.fm)

So honored to be appearing live on Sunday, July 7, @4:00 p.m. on Ron Olesko's 'Traditions' radio show (show runs from 3 -6 p.m.). I"ll be talking about my NEWLY RELEASED album 'Rings Around Saturn' and sharing a few songs as well! Ron's show is the longest running show on WFDU (since 1980!) and also streams on the Internet at www.wfdu.fm. The show features a blend of traditional and contemporary folk songs with live-in studio appearances from some of the finest singer-songwriters from the folk community. Ron also has a new operation, a 24/7 Internet radio channel called Folk Music Notebook. They stream from their website at www.FolkMusicNotebook.com and also have a free app available at the Apple and Google Play stores. The blend is also a mix of traditional and contemporary, a curated playlist that honors the outstanding established artists as well as place to discover the extraordinary talent that is carrying on the music for new generations. Each evening, Folk Music Notebook also offers a selection of shows from around the country including Rich Warren’s “Midnight Special”, “Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour”, “Sing Out! Radio Magazine”, “Live From Godfrey Daniels" plus shows from Sonny Ochs, Angela Page, Rik Palieri, David Rovics, Christine Lavin and Joe Jencks with a few more shows to be added.
